Learning From Others
by: Larry Easto

The biggest challenge to creative marketing is condition that might be called the 'shrinking of the comfort zone'.

Closely associated with a similar condition 'hardening of the attitudes' it leads to two counter-productive situations.

One is that things can only be done the way they have always been done.

The other is that you can only learn new things by restricting your vision to your own industry.

As Malcolm points out we cam learn lots of new things from other industries, such as SEO, which is itself a new industry.

The critical pre-condition to creativity is continuing to allow your comfort zone to increase.

This will will happen naturally with an attitude that is open to new ideas...whatever the source.
