Don't be afraid to tell YOUR story

by Calvin Cowles

"Story" telling works in so many areas.

Calvin Cowles Calvin Cowles

I am a home inspector but I don't "sell" home inspections.

I "sell" myself first and my expertise second and maybe the potential client will get to "know me. like me and trust me".

Then they feel like they want no one else but me to walk with them through the purchase of their next home.

So, MY STORY is the most important thing to me.

And, THEIR STORY is equally important to them.

Telling our story to each other brings us together.

Don't be afraid to tell YOUR story and please listen, really listen to theirs.

Stories Are Great Marketing Tools
by: Larry Easto

As Calvin's story points out, personal stories are incredibly effective marketing tools.

Unfortunately they also tend to be underutilized.

There simply is no better way to distinguish yourself from the competition while enhancing relationships with prospects and clients.

Instead of simply parroting the same old advertising catch phrases and sales puffery, why not tell your story...and as Calvin points out, listen to other people's stories.

And speaking of stories...what is your favorite story about how stories have helped you in your marketing?
