A Real Estate Marketing Group Can Help Attract More & Better Clients

By creating your own real estate marketing group, your marketing can become more effective and more efficient.

We've all heard that “two heads are better than one” and that “many hands make light work.”

Provided that the heads and hands are focused on achieving the same results, groups of like-minded people can achieve more and better results than individuals working alone.

Carefully organized and purposefully managed, a marketing group can help improve your marketing and as a result, attract more clients.

Inevitably, the the synergy of people working together generates exciting results.

Two Kinds Of Marketing Groups

Although there is virtually no limit to the combinations of potential group members, it is best to consider only two models for your group.

In-House Marketing Group

Real Estate Marketing Group

In this model, all of the members work with the same company.

Members of your group could include people who like you are actively involved in real estate marketing.

These people could individuals who are:

With everyone working with the same company, there should be enough commonality among the members to facilitate discussions.

The downside of course is that in-house politics and unrelated personal issues could interfere with the group's operation and discussions.

Like-Minded People

In this approach, the members would be like-minded people outside of your company.

These members could be:

By drawing on outside people, the group will not be limited by in-house considerations such as politics and history.

However, it will likely take longer and be more difficult to develop and maintain the group's synergy.

Selecting Real Estate Marketing Group Members

The primary qualification for membership in your group is experience and interest in real estate marketing.

Individual members should be at least experienced as you are.

Ideally, their experience will be greater and different than yours.

The ideal size of the group is six.

Meetings of 1-2 hours are best, scheduled every other week at the same time and place.

Good facilitation is the key to effectively functioning real estate marketing groups.
