Search Engines Can & Will Work For You... But You Must Trust The ProcessInstead of trying to learn everything you can about search engines, find a system that does the work for you...and trust it.Online Marketing
Without a doubt, an
effective Internet marketing presence is now required for all real
estate agents..whether new or experienced. Those who want to succeed over the long term must be willing to go where today's buyers and sellers are... online. Online lead generation opportunities increase exponentially each day as more buyers and sellers turn to the Net to begin their searches for new homes and new agents. Here are some statistics from a 2007 NAR study that illustrate how purchasers have already made the shift:
Regardless of what percentage of real estate clients currently use the Internet...the message is clear...if you want to connect with today's Internet-Savvy clients...you need an online marketing presence. If you are are willing to invest in developing a unique website ...you will thrive in the increasingly important world of online marketing. Top “The Website Has Been Great”"The real estate
market in general is slow, but the web site has been great.
![]() "I have made more money via clients finding me from my SBI site than I have with all my other marketing efforts. "SBI has probably been the best $300 a year we have ever spent. "These were all clients moving to Arizona from other states that would have never found me without the SBI site. Bobbi (my wife) is working with another client that is moving here from New Jersey right now who should be closing on their home next week. That is going to be another $8,600 commission. "We couldn't be happier. I have gone from zero web experience when we first purchased the site to what I think is a great looking site that is making money. "Who knows what things will look like once the real estate market turns around! Whether the market is hot or cold, you want people to think about you when it's time to buy or sell a home. Top Why Most Real Estate Web Sites Fail At Lead GenerationThere are several key reasons why most of the real estate Web sites currently out there will fail...1. They never get found.
The "If you build it, they will come" philosophy does not apply in the online world. Most of the real estate Web site templates and design tools available in today's market have overlooked this fact. The end result is that thousands of agents have invested millions of hours and dollars into putting up Web sites that will never be discovered. 2. They fail to develop rapport
and trust with the online visitor.
In split seconds, an effective Web site needs to convey trust, credibility, and high value to anyone viewing it. The vast majority of pre-packaged Website building tools sold by vendors and all of the website templates available through your broker's office simply cannot achieve this. 3. They miss the mark on what
buyers and sellers are seeking online.
Most sites are nothing more than the old-style of generic, one-size-fits-all pages filled with cookie-cutter content, basic access to the MLS and unimaginative tools. This model doesn't work anymore. Top Today's buyers and sellers want much, much more. They seek instant access to the latest listings, expert or cutting-edge information that speaks to the heart of their unique needs, valuable tools that help with their home buying or selling challenges, and hot opportunities. These folks want this information immediately, they want it anonymously, and sometimes they want an agent's instant response. Top How To Get Search Engines Working For YouFor practical purposes, search engines are the link...or obstacle..between you and prospective clients. To a technoklutz
like me, search engines are strange and constantly changing
phenomena. I know just enough about them to know that I really don't
want...or need...to know more.
In many respects, using search engines is much like using a car. I have a general understanding of how the internal combustion engine works...more than what I need to drive a car. I leave the fancy technical stuff to car buffs. In terms of search engines, I know they require keywords used an appropriate number of times in an appropriate of places....but mercifully do not know...or need to know... how to determine what is appropriate. The system I use for building and maintaining my site...SBI...has a feature that among other things analyzes my use of keywords on a page. It tells me to add or delete keywords...and once I have followed the instructions...I simply build the page. I also know that new pages must be submitted to the search engines. But again, I do not know what is involved with that...the SBI system does it for me...automatically. And yes...I also know that search engines frequently drop web pages from their listings. It's happened to me twice so far. SBI user-forums
offer the reassurance that everything will be all right.
And just as helpful, the system resubmits to the search engines the relevant information about the pages that have been dropped. Within a few weeks the pages have been re-listed. Once again, I know from experience: each time the search engines dropped pages, they were re-listed...without my having done anything. Strange as it may seem...all I have to know about search engines is to do what the SBI system tells me to do. For me, the bottom line is that SBI helps the search engines help me...what a great reward for simply trusting the process. SBI is an unbelievably user-friendly..and effective...system that will help you build an online marketing presence that reflects your uniqueness as an agent and how you serve clients. This in turn will help you attract prospects, generate referrals and...succeed in real estate. SBI works for me..even better than what I had anticipated. There is no reason what-so-ever to expect it won't work just as well for you. Check it out...then try it out free.
