Most of the things that will contribute to your success can be learned.This includes virtually everyhting from the most complex of success theories to the simplest of success tips.
There are three categories of success elements that can be learned.
- know-how
- mental attitudes
- actions
Know-How
Using as a model Michael Gerber's classic book The E-Myth Revisited, the know-how category can be divided into three sub-categories:
Technical: this is
the
business-specific know-how that clients seek. For real estate professionals, it is guiding clients through the process of buying or selling real estate.
For other service providers, it is the professional or personal service that you provide to clients.
Management: this is the know-how that allows you to run your own business that provides the services that clients seek.
Entrepreneur: It is your entrepreneurial know-how that allows you to develop new and better ways of serving your clients and running your business.
Representing 20% of your success effort, the know-how elements of success can be learned.

Mental Attitudes
We were not born with
our attitudes
about life in general and success in particular. Our attitudes toward such factors as belief, desire and enthusiasm are shaped by the people who influence our personal growth and development.
In other words, we learn our attitudes from the people around us.
If you have not yet developed the mental attitudes most helpful for your success, you can learn...and definitely should...still learn them.
Representing 40% of your success effort, appropriate mental attitudes as elements of success can be learned.

Actions
As important as know how and attitudes are, by themselves they will not bring about your desired results...the success that you seek.Without taking action, know-how and attitudes are little more than theory or hypothetical ideas.
To succeed in your life, in your work or business...or indeed in any project that you may undertake, it is critical that you take appropriate action to achieve your goals.
Regardless whatever action must be taken to achieve your goals, it can be learned.
Like the appropriate mental attitudes, actions represent 40% of your success effort.
Also like mental attitudes...and appropriate know-how actions as elements of success can be learned.
Realistically, all critical elements of success can be learned.
Whatever you learn about success in your work can also be applied to achieve greater success beyond work.
